My Priorities
“What I Stand For”
As your Ward 3 Councillor, I will bring a proactive, community-driven approach to City Hall. Our city is growing, and we must ensure that our neighbourhoods remain safe, our local services remain reliable, and our municipal government remains fiercely accountable to the people it serves.
Fiscal Responsibility
Support transparent budgeting and careful review of city spending to improve efficiency, prioritize value for Ward 3 residents, and help limit pressure on property taxes.
Protecting Our Natural Environment
Preserve Ward 3’s green spaces, parks, waterways, and rural character while ensuring future development is environmentally responsible and sustainable for generations to come.
Neighborhood Safety
Work with local partners to address rising property crime and vehicle theft through increased police visibility, stronger community partnerships, and support for neighbourhood watch programs across Ward 3.
Traffic Safety & Road Improvements
Supporting practical traffic-calming measures, safer intersections, and improved pedestrian safety to protect residents and enhance quality of life throughout Ward 3.
Infrastructure Solutions
Addressing traffic congestion, improving road safety, and ensuring transportation infrastructure keeps pace with growth while preserving the quality of life that residents value.
Affordable Housing
Advocate for affordable housing options that allow young adults, families, and seniors to continue living in the community they call home, while preserving the qualities that make Ward 3 unique.
Support Families
Expand access to affordable, quality child care options in Ward 3 by encouraging more community-based and non-profit spaces located near key neighbourhoods and transit routes.
Affordable Growth
Support responsible growth in Ward 3 by reducing barriers such as development fees for non-profit and affordable housing projects to help increase housing supply and community accessibility.
